Offered is a large 25" early mark Simon Halbig 1009 child doll in a divine antique knitted dress!
Her bisque socket head is perfect without damage or restoration and features her original large blue spiral threaded sleep eyes, lovely painting and a very expressive face. It does have some wig pulls near the rim that of course will always remain beneath her lovely replaced mohair wig. There is also a small mold kiln bubble on her right brow. She is so stunning that when looking at her in person it is not something that detracts in any way.Marks: S13H. 1009 DEP.
She is on a fabulous early heavy chunky wood and composition body which is in its original finish. I did not want to remove her knitted dress as it is so thin and I would risk tearing it but I guarantee the body to be in great original condition with only age related wear and nothing that would devalue it. It has all its fingers intact. She wears layers of antique underwear and replaced boots and socks as well as a vintage straw and velvet hat.
She is a great package with lots of presence!
