Offered is one of the last dolls made in France under the name of Jumeau, a 23" Unis France 301 in her original dress, undies, wig and matching bonnet.
Her bisque socket head is perfect without damage or restoration and features an open mouth with molded tetth, lashed blue sleep eyes and is marked: Unis France (in an ellipse) 301 71 149. Her high color is typical of this era and is beautifully done with some brown shadowing on upper lids, red lips and pale bisque with softly feathered brows. She wears her original wig in its original set over her cardboard pate.
Her original SFBJ Jumeau body with working crier is in its factory original finish. There is some paint flaking on one upper arm and one thigh but is other wise in excellent condition. All fingers intact. Lean her back and forward and you can hear her cry.
She wears her original flowered smockinged dress with her one piece cotton slip/undies, a matching bonnet, rayon socks and 1930's oilcloth shoes.
