Offered is a gorgeous example of the German bisque child "Mein Liebling" by Kammer & Reinhardt. She has that sweet and innocent expression of this desirable mold and wears a fabulous long original mohair wig. Talk about personality!
She has a perfect bisque head without any damage or restoration and a lovely complexion. Her head is incised: “K*R//Simon & Halbig//117//43.” She has sparkling chocolate brown sleep eyes, and quality facial decoration. The only thing to note are some wig pulls at the top of her head near the crown. One in particular is a little deeper and sits right on the crown edge (price adjusted accordingly).
She is on an antique German ball jointed body that has no repaint and is in its original factory color. Some cracking at the top of one thigh with a small piece missing and one rebuilt finger.
Costumed in an antique wool dress, antique undies and a slip, cotton socks and antique shoes and a great antique red hat, she is the picture of a German child of the early 1900’s.
A very appealing doll.
