Golden Grain Tobacco advertising poster. We don’t often use the “R” word, but, indeed, this is a rare poster, especially in near mint condition. The Western bronco buster theme is reminiscent of Russell or Remington (very cool), but we do not know the artist or designer. Golden Grain, “The burley blend granulated tobacco,” was a product from Brown & Williamson (founded 1893) in the early 20th century. Full color process printing on poster stock paper – this IS an original, not a reproduction. We have been unable to find another available for sale anywhere. When will you see another? It is mounted on foam core and professionally matted; it will be easily framed or re-mounted to suit your décor. No artist’s or designer’s marks; only a printer’s designation “REG. # 71”. Dimensions: 14 inches wide by 20 inches tall. Condition: Excellent; near mint; age patina is evident on backside of paper.
