He’s only 3 ¼ inches tall, but he stands proud with his rifle, helmet, field pack and bright red uniform. Made of heavy cast material (not lead); surface is a bit “play-worn” – probably 1915 -20. He sports very nice detail work in the face and uniform and his backpack is numbered 21058. He’s unmarked; styling and gear lead us to think he is British. Toe of his left boot is chipped – undoubtedly from tangling with the enemy! An unusual find, we think.
