Large and exceptional signed antique Bracelet of 18K Gold, Enamel and Rose Diamonds, dating to circa: 1850. Spectacular workmanship and beautifully made. The Bracelet is designed with five fixed intertwined ovals of various sizes with some with traces of blue Enamel. The large center oval has 8 Rose Cut Diamonds set along the Cobalt Blue Enamel border. Three larger Rose Diamonds are set vertically down its center. There are a total of 11 Rose Cut Diamonds in all and all set in Silver, as was often the custom. The Bracelet has a beautiful woven Gold Band, pliable and with an elaborate engraved Clasp. The Clasp is signed with the maker's initials on the tongue of the clasp which may be: F.R. or possibly I.R. Sorry, our camera not able to take sharp enough photos of the small marks. The mid 19th Century Bracelet measures approximately 7" in length and the band 3/8" wide. The oval sections measures approximately 1" high x 1 5/8" long. The Safety chain most likely added later. The antique 18K Gold, Enamel and Rose Diamond Bracelet is in good condition and even prettier and more detailed in person than the photos show. A truly spectacular piece! Item was assayed to determine its carat at 18K Gold.
