Exceptionally fine and rather rare pair of early Danish Solid Silver Trencher Salt Cellars (Open Salt Cellars), dating to circa: 1800, with beautiful ornate bases, embossed with Flowers (repousse' design). The antique Danish Silver Salt Cellars measure 4 1/2" long and stand 2 1/4" high and both in fine condition. Their marks are reasonably legible (have noted the location of the hallmarks with small arrows in one photograph). The late 18th Century / early 19th Century Danish Silver Salt Cellars are a stunning pair; also rare to find a matching pair as well to find both in fine condition. They show well in the photos; of course best in person. Note that some photos were taken on an angle. Also, bright and dark areas are reflections of the room while being photographed and note the white string is part of our description tag.
