Fantastic pair of early 20th Century Sterling Silver Place Card Holders, each in the form of a young child musician. One small child is a Drummer boy and the other is playing a Banjo. The young musicians stand in front of a column, that fans out overhead (possibly representative of lit candles) and they stand ornate bases. The place card slips in behind the fan design. The antique full figure Sterling Place Card Holders are beautifully crafted and in beautiful condition with tarnish in areas. They are each marked on the underside of their bases 'Sterling' along with hallmarks. They stand 2 1/2" inches high and their bases measures 1 1/2" inches in diameter. Their total approximate weight is 76 grams. The last photograph shows a green place card that is used for photographic purposes. The fine Sterling Sliver Musician Place Holders show very well in the photographs and just as beautiful in person. The photographs were taken with and without a camera flash. Lovely pair!
