Gorgeous pair of matching, ornate Sterling Silver Bon Bon Spoons in the Frontenac Pattern by International, dating to circa: 1905. Excellent examples of the Art Nouveau period, with their fluid, floral and organic forms and designs. Each measures approximately 5 1/4" long (see photos for other measurements). Each monogrammed on their handle with a fancy period script 'G'. Marked on their reverses: International Hallmark, PAT, Sterling. Additionally the original owners had their name engraved on the reverse of the bowls (see photographs). Can be used for serving many other items, such as candy, nuts, wet vegetables (the piercings allow the liquids to be strained), etc... The antique Bon Bon Spoons are in beautiful, fine condition. Show darker in the photographs. So much more beautiful in person, where they are beautiful shiny Sterling Silver. Sold as a set of two.
