Stunning and exceptional, early 20th Century Diamond, Sapphire, Pearl and Platinum Flower Form Ring. The Ring is designed in a Flower Form----Diamonds set into the flower petals have tremendous sparkle. Set in the center of the flower is a gorgeous, rich blue faceted Sapphire stone with two large white Pearls mounted on either side, all set in a substantial Platinum mounting. The AGA Appraisal notes a Platinum Mounting with a Sapphire of approximately 1 carat in the center of the flower form and a fine approximately 5.6. mm Cultured Pearl of fine color and luster on each side of the Sapphire. It notes a total of 24 mixed cut Diamonds (early modern cut and old European cut) set into the Flower Form Petals. The top of the Ring (the 'Flower') measures 7/8" diameter and is a finger size of 7 1/2. The Diamonds have a total approximate weight of 60 points. Noted in the Appraisal is that all Sapphires are assumed to have had have heat treatment applied. The vintage Jeweled Flower Ring is exquisite and in very beautiful, fine condition. Shows very well in the photos and absolutely stunning in person. Variations in color due to lighting and reflections while being photographed. Photographs taken with and without a camera flash.
