A very nice, and fairly uncommon, example of a quartersawn oak Belter chair in the Rosalie pattern, N.Y ca 1855. It is 40" high, the seat is 19" high and 18" deep, and the chair is supported on cabriole legs. It is in new looking burgundy velvet which is in perfect condition. Our item B746 is nearly identical with slight variations in the crest carving and slightly different, but very recent burgundy velvet.
