This original antique black and white photograph postcard is of a traditionally dressed Native American woman who appears of high importance, possibly a Squaw (Chief's wife). She is wearing beaded leather moccasins, long hide skirt, bead and fur overcoat, and woven basket headdress. The photo has wonderful contrast, very dark black and bright white; the photo has wonderful clarity and composition. The postcard is in wonderful condition, has very little to no wear, and has never been addressed, stamped, or mailed. The edges of the postcard are slightly worn, but do not appear to have any damage. This photograph postcard has been well preserved and stored within a rigid plastic sleeve. The postcard measures about 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".
