With ornate leaves and vines and a Chinese character in cur out gold and an apple green jade stone with two carved fish--possibly Pisces-- this vintage pendant is a lovely example of Oriental craftsmanship. Shaped like a large bean, the piece of jade has four small holes drilled into it. I do not know if this is symbolic. Circular in shape, the pendant has a slightly larger than 1" diameter. The piece is hallmarked on the attached ring 14K and my jeweler has tested the pendant itself at 14K. An unusual piece, it would look striking on a gold chain!
