In the shape of woven hair acorns, these incredible 10K Victorian earrings dangle from the ear and are trimmed in 10K yellow gold with 10K kidney wires. Although unmarked, they have been jeweler tested and measure 1 1/2" long and about 1/2" at the widest top acorn portion. In Victorian times, the acorn was an often used symbol for new beginnings and good luck--it perhaps could symbolize a new life after death. Hair jewelry was popular doing Victorian times and in great use. Today finding this jewelry in excellent condition is a rarity.
