Shaped like little tridents, these 6 sterling silver cocktail forks by Gorham have a repousse sea shell design of scallops, whelks and clams along the handle. Measuring 5 1/2" in length, they are monogrammed with an Edwardian "E" on the top end of the handle. Signed with the Gorham lion passant, anchor and capital Victorian "G" and sterling on the back as well as numbered 36, they are in excellent estate condition. Weighing a about an ounce each, these little forks are solid sterling. With the nautical motif and signature, the pattern was most likely made during the late 1800's and are related to the Narragansett line. An awesome little set!
