Elegant French Film Noir black silk satin fold over envelope style evening clutch handbag with a petite silk tambour hand embroidered floral and ribbon design. Some photos show the handbag and embroidered designs enlarged, the work is very delicate and fine and in silk. The clutch has two interior pockets and measures 7 1/2" having an accordion bottom and snap closure. It is unmarked but research shows it to be French from the 1950s. Excellent condition. I also have a black silk beaded glasses with a similar Tambour pattern that would be a wonderful companion piece. Smoke free home.
