A superb turquoise glass vase with a chimney neck, an ovoid middle section with curved black and gilded applied trims, and a stepped round base, the whole screw mounted on a square pattern gilded black base. The vase features a masterfully hand painted "Monarch of the Glen" plaque cleverly attached to the front with two small nuts and bolts, the reverse is decorated with an intricate anthemion motif. Additional design elements include stylised floral bands in raised white enamel, enamel scrollwork, dot outlines, and patterned gilding.
