A square cut glass tea caddy or container with a large mouth and stopper, bevelled corners, and twenty four point rayed star to the base. The caddy has a gilt metal neck ring, relief wreath and garland embellished gilt metal cover, and sits in an ormolu mount decorated in the Neoclassical manner with winged caryatids, further wreaths and garlands, as wells as conjoined flower head and scrollwork bands.
