A great pair of large showy costume earrings by Paris designer Brono Livrelli. Composed of two natural clear rock crystal discs, with some natural inclusions occurring in the crystals. Each measure 1-1/8" (30mm) in diameter and are suspended from a silver double chain which then attaches to American nickels (five cents); one depicting the Buffalo and the other the Indian head. The earrings are 2.3/8" (60mm) in length. These earring were not mass produced, any similar example would have had different agate or crystal discs. Today these pieces are hard to find and truly unique. They weigh approximately 16gr. (.57oz) each. They are in excellent shape, an amazing look and a great collection piece! Earrings are clip ons and hold well on the earlobe, not too heavy to wear for an evening out and make a great statement!
