Circa 1960s abstract modernist enamel bracelet from Germany. Done in five panels of matte-finish cloisonne enamel on gilt metal. Well constructed modernist design with "cut out" abstract shapes. Background is black with the white and purple shapes floating on top surrounded by a gilt frame and gilt link. Each panel measures 1-3/16 (3cm)"long by 7/8" (23mm) long. Each panel is slightly curved making for a comfortable fit around the wrist. When laid flat bracelet is just under 7.5" (19cm) and when closed it is approximately 7" (17.8cm). The back is peppered in all the colors of the front enamelling. In excellent vintage condition overall with some minor loss to the gilt finish from age and wear. The box closure is extra secure with a spring like safety feature. Piece is not signed as all were not but probably made by Scholz & Lammel or Perli. The back of the bracelet with the lighter golden enameling is more typical of Scholz And Lammel, Perli used a black enameling. In any event an impressive statement piece and hard to find and it is in excellent vintage condition with some normal wear from age and use.
