This is a fine example of Art Nouveau workmanship. A substantial ornate pendant on a chain dating back to the Art Nouveau era. The round hand wrought and hand carved pendant features a raised four petaled bud at the center surrounded by an elaborate organic pattern of leaves and flowers. The pendant has been to a chain ending with a spring clasp that is stamped "STER" with a punch mark or markers mark. Pendant is 2.5" (65mm) in diameter. The central flower is just over 1" (30mm) across. Each chain is 10.5" (31mm) long (from clasp to pendant, with the pendant it spans 23.5" (60cm). With the pendant it falls approximately 26" from the neckline. Piece is in excellent antique condition with no repairs or breaks. A truly wonderful statement sure to be noticed when worn.
