Featuring a lovely estate rose and yellow ring. Retro in style but dating to the early 1960s this 14K yellow and rose gold features a natural golden emerald cut citrine. This estimated 8.5 to 9 carats citrine is embedded into an elegant two toned gold cocktail mount. A beautifully crafted, ring which is in excellent condition. A well cut natural citrine, approximately 12 mm long x 10 mm wide. The two toned gold rounded setting, reminiscent of the retro 1940's styling compliments the color of the citrine perfectly. I was told that the ring was acquired in Vienna in the early 1960s and lovingly worn for many years on special occasions. The band is stamped: 585 for 14K gold plus there is a country punch mark, hard to make out exactly, but I believe that it is the head of an animal with an initial beside, W? for city perhaps . There is also the makers initials, RK, PK?. The ring size is just shy of 6.25. A truly eye catching ring!
