A lovely enamel modernist bracelet from the Norwegian jewelry maker Hans Myhre! Circa 1950's /1960's. It is a great example of the Guilloche technique in a crisp white enamel. Comprised of 8 sterling silver concave linked engraved guilloche enamelled disks with a gilt silver ball that sits atop of each disk. Each disk is also framed with gilt silver. Reminiscent of Lily Pads! The engraving adds texture to the bracelet. Each disk is connected by a sterling gilt link and ends with a box and tongue closure. Clearly hallmarked at the back of the clasp with: 925 S, Sterling, made in Norway and the signature "ANCHOR" Hans Myhre hallmark . A great piece for the enamel and Scandinavian jewelry lover from the 1950/60s. The bracelet measures approximately 7-1/8" (18cm) long. The links measure approximately 7/8" (2 cm) in diameter. The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. The gilding is not worn off, there are no chips in the enamel and the clasp closes securely and in good working condition. A striking piece, which could be worn any time of the year! There is a matching necklace which I have listed separately. Please see item number: 586. They would make a great set.
