This Is a wonderful example of early Mexican design. A hand wrought sterling silver chocker style necklace. abstract and earthy at the same time. Necklace is composed of many repousse circular links with a central ball in the middle. There are 7 that have floral hanging extensions with great detailing. Necklace has a sturdy hook closure. It is 1-1/4" wide at widest point ( drops), the circular links are 5/16" in circumference. Total length of necklace is 14-1/2" (37cm) long. Getting harder to find pieces like this. Necklace is in excellent vintage condition, not cleaned so has a nice patina. Circa late 1930's early 40's. Stamped Sterling, Taxco
