This is a super nice and very collectible chocker necklace from Mexico. Hand crafted by Los Ballesteros in sterling silver and Azurite stones. This Mexican vintage necklace from the 1950's is all at once bold and modern in design yet classical and elegant. Central links form into what appears to be two human forms joining hands or diving. There are 6 Azurite stones: 4 are approximately 11.5mm x 9mm and 2 are approx 10mm x 8mm. It is signed "Hecho En Mexico" "Talleres Los Ballesteros Taxco" "Sterling 925" & "Eagle 42". Chocker is 15"long. Centre panel spans 3.5" across x 1" in width. Condition very good vintage with some minor surface scratches on sterling, normal for age. Clasp closes securely. Piece is in as found condition with a natural patina, not polished or cleaned.
