Very smart looking modernist hand wrought pendant in sterling silver and carnelian from Israel. Hanging from the bale is an elliptical shape from which hangs a circular silver bowl the holds a prong set citrine. Below the citrine focal point are five hanging silver wire extensions, each ending with a citrine bead. Circa 1970, this is a great free flowing and fun piece. In a modernist sensibility it is vaguely reminiscent of an evil eye / hamsa hand. Stamped with Israel, 925 and another stamp with an initial or a maker mark. Can be worn either on a short or long chain. Piece measures: 2-1/4" (5.5cm) wide and 4" (10cm) long. Dangles are 2" (5cm).
