Impressive vintage Soviet period Russian 14K rose gold ring. Circa 1950. Gorgeous domed mounting with fan shaped scrolls that were hand pierced on the gallery with a bezel setting holding a round green cabochon Jade (possibly nephrite jade) of approximately 3.00 ct. This ring is finely and skillfully crafted. The ring sits approximately 15 mm above the finger ( 7/8") and 18mm (3/4") wide across the finger. The jade is a rich dense semi translucent darker green with some speckles of darker green. Was not able to capture the color exactly. This jade was mined in Siberia. The band is stamped with 583 (Russian 14K gold standard), hammer and sickle, 5 pointed star and with the letter C. Also stamped is possibly a factory mark: 9 and other Russian characters. In excellent like new condition. Size is approximately 7-3/4 but could be resized if needed. Outstanding quality vintage ring.
