A bright and cheery Machine Age necklace of poured glass beads with chrome findings from the 1930's. I have seen other examples of this type of work that came from Europe and my guess is that this is a french piece. Alternating red and yellow poured glass beads are separated by frosted glass domes and metal spacers or findings. The screw in barrel clasp is no longer chrome coated from years of use but is very secure. The necklace is16 " in length and 1/2" in width. Overall in very good vintage condition, some chrome loss on one spacer and clasp as previously mentioned (see photo #2). A great fresh look and a great piece to wear in the summer warmth ! I have not cleaned it but left it as found. Thank you for looking.
