A vintage Ginori porcelain box with a deep rose floral pattern on both sides. On the lid is a knob in the shape of a rose jutting out from a slightly raised pattern on the porcelain. Signed on the base, Richard Ginori Italy. This company can trace its origins back to 1735 when Carlo Ginori started a hard paste porcelain factory in a small town out side of Florence. It measures 3.5" high, 8" diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines or restorations.
