Amazing antique bronze model of a horned owl on a bronze stand with a key wind watch in the owl's beak. A very fine craftsmanship details on the owl. The owl has a nice aged patina and glass eyes. This bronze desk timepiece is all original. The watch and the owl on the stand belongs to each other and it is a match set.
The 30 hour watch movement with a gold balance wheel keeps good time. The movement hosted in a fancy oblong shape brass case. The back cover has a two holes, one to set the time and the other one to wind the watch.
The original bevel glass crystal is in very good condition, except for a very small chip on the front bevel edge surface by 9 o'clock.
Porcelain dial with blued steel hands is almost perfect, just with a couple tiny pinhead size chips by the center, close to the center of the hands, its hard to see.
This desk timepiece has no maker name on it, and no name on the watch. Only "RWC 68.6" stamped mark inside of the watch cover.
