Victorian hand painted bird buttons in gold fill. These unique buttons feature hand painted birds and flowers over a milky glass. The paint has a little wear but not bad considering that they date to the late 1800s. The glass is set in a gold fill frame with a twisted rope border. I don't know if these buttons would have been used for a cuff or collar. They measure five eighths of an inch n each side. age appropriate wear.
