Here we have two very special pieces of older vintage Trifari costume jewelry that is highly sought by collectors. This amazing set bears one of Trifari's first marks. The famous "KTF" signature indicates that it was designed by Krussman, Trifari, and Fishel. Leo F. Krussman, Gustavo Trifari, and Carl Fishel were the three men that started the Trifari jewelry company and their signature means that this dress clip was made in the late 1930s. One of the clip is marked KTF REG. 1935. They are both stamped KTF in several places.
The rhodium plated clips are set with paste stones , some darkened some bright, and pretty blue glass beads. I have noticed two missing blue pieces from one of the clips. They feature a wonderful geometric shape and are slightly unique from each other. The more linear of the two measures 1-5/8'' x 7/8'' and the other 1-1/2'' x 1''. Age appropriate wear.
