Vintage gilt filigree vanity mirror tray. Ornate and beautiful this beveled mirror is unusual in that it stands with an easel back. I believe it to date back to the 1940s or 1950s. The tray measures 9'' in diameter. The filigree work on the border is exquisite with tiny flowers and an applied scalloped embellishment at the top. It stands on two tiny ball feet and is finished with a wine colored velvet on the back and stand. This stylish estate find is in good overall order with some fine scratching to the mirror from use, and some wear to the felt on the base, neither issue is significant or are likely to show when in use. This is the perfect way to enhance your display of perfume bottles. It stands beautifully and will make a wonderful backdrop to your vanity setting. And of course as it's intended purpose it serves very nicely as a mirror. Romanticly vintage and stylishly elegant. Sorry about the photos, I will try to re take them.
