Victorian Sea Shell Art toothpick holder or small vase. The Victorians had a love of nature, crafts and collecting. This circa 1900 sea shell treasure would make a unique little vase to hold a bouquet of violets or tiny flowers. The vase is embellished with a floral transfer that has partially rubbed off and a few of the shells are chipped. Possibly one missing but leaving behind it's fossil like imprint.
This is such a charmer. It measures 3'' x 3''. It is an amazing antique survivor of the late Victorian era.
