Victorian circa 1880 ruby ring crafted in 10K yellow gold with applied leaf ornamentation. This beautiful estate ring is a wonderful keepsake from the Victorian era. The mount is fabulous but the stones show signs of their age. They are chipped but in my opinion do not take away from the integrity of this antique treasure.
The focal point is set with seven faceted rubies set in the form of a flower. It measures about 10mm in diameter. The stones are set with a multitude of the most wonderful prongs. They are almost in form of a Fleur Di Lis. Each side is graced with applied leaves and bead work that combined with the the wonderful prongs give the ring a unique antique charm. The band will adorn a 6.75 finger. Truly a superb Victorian ring despite it's flaws. I love this one.
