A little Bit Of History.... Danecraft Jewelry: In the 1930's, Victor Primavera and his brother Thomas began the Primavera Brothers Jewelry Company. In 1938 Victor founded Felch and Company in Providence, Rhode Island. There he began producing Danecraft silver and vermeil (gold-plated silver) costume jewelry. After his death in 1945, the Felch mark FCo was no longer used. Per most reports, the Danecraft mark continued to be used until about 1950. Since 1977 the company has been called Felch-Wehr and it still produces silver and vermeil jewelry in other styles
