A favorite subject of the Art Nouveau era is the female form emerging from a flower and this little lady appears to be part of her bonnet of flower petals. Her munchkin like face is framed in curls and her base is cut out for a bell. I am not sure if this turn of the century keepsake was intended for a baby rattle or chatelaine. It measures 1-1/4'' x 3/4'' and tests for silver but has no markings.
This whimsical collectible can be worn on a chain as a pendant. Age appropriate wear.
