This has to be one of the most romantic honeymoon pins that I have come across so far. The Victorians were crazy with romance and symbolism giving most of their tiny keepsakes hidden meanings and coveted secrets.
The estate keepsake that we are offering here is a honeymoon pin which would have been given to a bride on her wedding night by her husband. The crescent moon of course signifies the moon and the flowers are the honey. These tiny flowers are in the form of miniature stars and we can all imagine what they represent. The flowers and moon are embellished with tiny seed pearls which were a traditional stone for wedding jewelry during the Victorian era.
The pin measures 1-3/4'' x 5/8''. It is hallmarked 10K with a makers mark. The pin stick is not gold.
