Vintage Duchin glass compote with sterling silver base. Our lovely vintage compote is four and three eighths of an inch tall, and 5.75'' in diameter across the top. The vintage glass bowl features a ruffled, crimped rim, and intricate design. It is in very nice condition with no chips. The weighted, sterling silver base is 2.5'' in diameter. It exhibits a light patina.

The Duchin Silver Company was an American company, located in New York City. It was in opperation from 1944 into the 1950s. Their work is recognized for its fine design and quality workmanship. The Duchin Sterling Stamp is on the base.
