This is a very striking and captivating portrait plaque that is beautifully and richly painted. The artist has painted a young lady who looks to be of the 1920's- 1930's era due to her hair style. Her hair is wavy on the top and curly on the sides. She has a perk nose, cupid bow lips and vibrant blue eyes. Her face is expressive and filled with vim and vigor. The soft chiffon clothing has flowers on it; the background color of blended blues really bring out the blue in her eyes. The frame has a nice antique look to it with raised flowers & leaves and gold paint.
The framed plaque measures about 6 5/8" wide and 8 1/2" long.
Both the porcelain plaque and the frame are in excellent condition.
No maker's marks on the plaque.
