This is an outstanding Latrille Freres Limoges vase that has a gorgeous shape, wonderful handles and very interesting additions to the painting. The artist has painted big, fat ruby roses on one side and pink roses on the other. The flowers are accented with dainty white flowers and their vines. The twisted handles are painted with a blend of greens and dark pinks. The artist has painted a rich, regal like base with thick gold, raised paste scroll and beading and accents that look like "jewels". The The upper rim is also painted with jewel like accents with thick gold painted on the inside of the rim. This is a very unusual and very richly painted vase.
This is a sold and substantial vase standing 12 1/2" tall.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The colors are very strong and rich.
It is marked with Latrille Freres mark 1, 1899-1913.
