This is a large size Cider pitcher that is beautifully painted. The artist has painted bunches of red, ripe cherries twined around and drooping from their vines. The leaves are well painted and add a nice finishing touch to the cherries. The fruit & foliage are painted all around the body of the pitcher against a well blended background green and red. The handle and upper rim are painted in gold.
The pitcher stands 6 1/2" tall to the tip of the spout and has a circumference of about 24" around - it is large and substantial.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines.
It is marked with Guerin mark 3, 1900 and after.
