This is such a nice vase - I love the simple shape of it and I love the depiction of long stemmed Daisies done in a Nouveau style. The artist has painted the daisies with a little bit of a surreal effect as the stems drift downwards against the deep, dark green of the body. There is a very wide irregular border of gold at the top which perfectly sets off the daisies. This has a different look to it compared to many vases of this era.
The vase stands 7 3/4" tall.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. I have always displayed this vase with the Brauer decorated plate shown with it in the first picture as they look very well together. It is shown in a separate listing.
The vase is marked with Guerin mark 3, 1900 and after.
