This is a very lovely Limoges pitcher/ewer that is hand painted on a hard to find Haviland mold. The artist has signed on one of the branches and painted very pretty red & green currants , their Fall colored leaves and branches all over the body of the pitcher. This is an excellent mold; interesting and delicate at the same time. The background colors of yellow and amber complete the beauty of this piece.
The pitcher stands a little shy of 10".
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. It has been part of my currants collection for many years and I've loved it.
It is marked with Haviland mark 12, 1893 and after.
