This is a very large unmarked Belleek floor vase that is exquisitely and dramatically painted. The artist has painted very large, many petaled burgundy and yellow roses all around the body of the vase. They make an impressive display with the flowers reaching from top to bottom, around the sides and in the back. The leaves tuck delicately around the flowers - but the Roses are the true star of this beauty. The softly blended background accents the roses beautifully. The glaze on this vase has the distinct feel and wonderful sheen of Belleek - rich and smooth to the touch.
The vase stands a large 15" tall and has a circumference of 22 1/2" around. It is big and heavy.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or wear to the painting.
It is unmarked, but has the distinct look and feel of Belleek; not to mention the blank shape. Early 1900's.
