This outstanding Limoges footed Ferner is decorated by the Tressemann & Vogt factory & signed by the artist. It is painted with the famous and very valued T&V Roses which show clusters of burgundy and rich pink roses with their leaves and stems, on 4 sides of the Ferner. The roses look so rich against the deep green background. This is a gorgeous mold with raised detailing that is painted in gold. The ornate curved feet are also painted in gold as is the ruffled rim - which shows the expected wear from use over the past one hundred plus years. This is a striking and eye catching with gorgeous roses and lovely colors.
The Ferner stands 4 1/2" tall and 7 1/2" across the diameter of the top of the bowl. It is a nice size.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Except the the gold rubbing on the upper rim & tips of the feet, it is a great piece to display.
It is marked with Tressemann & Vogt under and overglaze marks 7 & 16; circa 1907. It also has the Higgins & Seitler stamp which featured very high end cut glass and porcelain in their ads.
