This is a very delightful Limoges Dresser set that consists of a Hair Receiver and a Powder Jar/Box. The artist has signed and dated on the bottom - Maude Repath, '12 (1912). She has done a sweet painting of Apple blossoms on the lids of both pieces, complete with branches, leaves and berries. It is a nice change from the ever popular rose design. This is a handsome set; each piece is footed. The edges, feet and finial are painted in very nice gold.
The Hair Receiver stands about 3 1/2" tall & almost 4 1/2" in diameter. The Powder Jar stands about 4 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter.
This set is in outstanding condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines and virtually no wear. It must have led a very protected life!
They are marked with Tressemann & Vogt mark 7. 1912.
