This lovely old vase is beautifully painted in a somewhat impressionistic style reminiscent of the Masters Bischoff, Aulich & Leykauf. The roses cascade from top to bottom and swirling around the sides. The colors are striking and eye catching. The leaves tuck prettily around the roses and all are accented with a nicely blended background.
The vase stands 9 1/2" tall and has a circumference of about 19 1/4" around. It is a heavy and solid piece.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The painting is quite lovely, the colors are strong.
There are no maker's marks - most likely European. Early 1900's.
