This elegant late 19th century French or continental bronze wall clock has a round hinged case surmounted with a classical urn topped with an acorn finial and draped in garland swags held by ram's heads on either side. Bronze festoons cascade down the sides of the clock. The pendulum is stamped "154" on the back. The bronze dial features twelve black hourly roman numerals on individual white porcelain cartouches each ornately framed in bronze. The clock has a working movement in good condition. and three bronze keys. The hands are either made of silver or pewter. Below and on either side of the dial the clock features an interesting hand fashioned pierced geometric grid detail in bronze.
I am researching this clock and will be revising the description as I acquire more information.
