A vintage hardcover book of the famous For Whom The Bell Tolls story. This was written by Ernest Hemingway and published in 1940 by Charles Scribner. The pages show some foxing but we find none missing nor tears or rips. There looks to be glue staining on the interior back cover. The spine is tight with extreme damage to boards. A bit of shelf wear.
We have listed as First Edition thus because this is missing the "A" on the copyright page. We believe this was published right after the very First Edition.
The book is in overall good to excellent condition. I'm sure it has been read and does show shelf wear but overall this is a fine example of For Whom The Bell Tolls
